About Me

Multimedia Artist | Social Entrepreneur | Instructional Designer

I'm a Philadelphia native and an instructional designer of creative, compelling, and culturally relevant learning experiences. My storytelling background spans across various creative mediums including videography, photography, journalism, podcasting, DJing, and recorded music. I have the ability to create narrative-driven educational content that's visually and sonically engaging and supported by learning theories, research, and cognitive science.

I’m proficient in operating Mac OS, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Captivate, Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Ableton, and Serato. My relevant graduate coursework includes Learning Sciences; Cognitive Science; UX Design; Design Process for Learning Experiences; Digital Skills for Learning Designers; and Narratives, Digital Media, and Learning.

As a sophomore in high school, I joined my school newspaper and wrote an article about my experience with grief after losing my twin brother at seven years old. This was my first time really confronting this loss, unpacking my emotions, and truly understanding my personal narrative. I felt this freedom that I didn't know I needed, like a weight I'd been living with my whole life was lifted. I began to see myself as a writer, a journalist, and a storyteller. This was my introduction to the power of using my voice in a creative medium.
